Diamondback Mechanical Group is seeking an HVACR Light Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to join our San Antonio service team. This role handles repair and maintenance of industrial refrigeration, ice machines, walk-in coolers, and related equipment across commercial settings.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in supermarket/rack/industrial refrigeration, be proficient with electrical controls, hold universal EPA certification, and be committed to safety and

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and support industrial refrigeration equipment for customers.

• Perform routine and emergency service on Freon refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls on various systems and assess control/alarm systems.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

HVACR Light Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician - Diamondback Mechanical Group: Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration.

Full Time / Skilled Trade / San Antonio, TX and Surrounding areas. We are based out of La Vernia, TX, and dispatch most of our calls from there, but use online service software for invoicing.

We are Looking for a Commercial Service Technician with an operating knowledge of plant refrigeration, minor plumbing, water pumps and water softeners, Commercial Air conditioning, Ice Machines, Walk-in coolers, and overall knowledge in the Refrigeration Industry.

$22.00 - $50.00 per hour DOE! Must be willing to work various shifts and overtime as needed. This job requires someone who is willing to learn and wants an opportunity to grow with our evolving company

Responsibilities:

• This position would be a part of our Service department and would be responsible for the repair, maintenance, & support of industrial refrigeration equipment for our valued customers
• Responsible for refrigeration repair and maintenance support to accounts in food and beverage and refrigerated storage equipment
• Perform routine and emergency service on Freon refrigeration equipment commonly found in refrigeration applications
• Use working knowledge of screw and reciprocal compressors, electrical troubleshooting all common types of systems, & control/alarm systems to perform inspections and preventative maintenance as required
• Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures and governing requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate, or a degree of higher education in HVACR school program or Extensive experience. A municipal, State, military or trade license or certificate relating to the maintenance area is desirable. EPA License required, State TDLR required to be obtained.
