Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Mid South is seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Refrigeration Leadman to oversee and manage refrigeration projects on construction sites in Alabama. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate tasks, and ensure installations meet safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years of HVAC-HVAC/R experience and relevant certifications. Excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities are essential, with the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC-HVAC/R experience.
• Valid HVAC certifications and licenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of refrigeration technicians on construction sites.
• Coordinate and schedule project tasks to meet deadlines.
• Install commercial refrigeration systems including walk-in coolers, freezers, and HVAC units.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project success.
• Mentor and train junior technicians as needed.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Refrigeration Leadman to join our dynamic team. As a Leadman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing refrigeration projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of refrigeration technicians on construction sites.
• Coordinate and schedule project tasks to meet deadlines.
• Install commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and HVAC units.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project success.
• Mentor and train junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC-HVAC/R experience.
• Correct Certifications and other relevant licenses.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Or aptitude to learn this quickly.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
