Commercial Cooking and Refrigeration Service Technician

Locations: Greater Los Angeles, CA

Pay Range: $25.00-$40.00 Full-Time

Overview

3Wire is seeking experienced and professional Commercial Refrigeration Service Technicians for our Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service locations. We repair equipment in restaurants, hotels, and institutions across California and Washington, providing preventative maintenance, installations, and training programs. Ideal candidates should have experience in:

• Customer service with a smile
• Service on commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration
• Executing repairs
• Performing preventative maintenance

Essential Responsibilities

• Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment. Communicate with dispatch upon arrival and departure.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers, including dispatchers, parts agents, customers, GMs, and suppliers.
• Be available for overtime and weekend service schedules.
• Maintain company vehicles, organize inventory, and ensure cleanliness.
• Responsible for returning parts to the warranty department.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in refrigeration, cooking, HVAC, or related military service.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Dedicated, punctual, organized.
• At least 18 years old.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with walk-ins, coolers, freezers, ice machines, and other kitchen equipment.
• CFESA certification and related training.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Computer literacy.
