Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a highly organized Real Estate Project Designer to join our Real Estate and Development team. This role bridges site concept to final permitted design, managing the technical aspects of commercial development to meet local codes and our branding standards.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to move projects through permitting, review surveys and construction drawings, and coordinate site plans using AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial real estate development and moving projects from origination through permitting.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes aligned with national branding and standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Real Estate, Legal, and Construction.
• Review site documents including Topographic, ALTA, and As-built surveys.
• Read and interpret architectural, civil, MEP, and structural drawings.
• Review site plans in AutoCAD and coordinate basic adjustments.
• Research local building codes and zoning ordinances; coordinate permitting timelines.
• Manage third-party consultant teams to ensure on-time deliverables.
• Maintain rigorous project schedules across multiple sites.
