Job summary

Robinson+Cole, a Vault Top Ranked Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate with 2–4 years of commercial real estate transactional and/or land use experience to join its Hartford, Connecticut office.

Qualified candidates will have strong real estate fundamentals including title and survey review, zoning and land use review and permitting, drafting acquisition documents, and reviewing loan documents. Connecticut bar admission is required; hybrid work model with 2–3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of commercial real estate transactional and/or land use experience.
• Strong real estate fundamentals including title and survey review, zoning and land use review and permitting, drafting acquisition documents, and reviewing loan documents.
• Experience representing developers and borrowers in complex commercial real estate transactions is preferred.
• Admission to the Connecticut bar is required; prior law firm experience is required.

Job description

Robinson+Cole, a Vault "Top Ranked" Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate with two to four years of commercial real estate transactional and/or land use experience to join its active Commercial Real Estate + Development Practice Group based in our Hartford, Connecticut office.

Robinson+Cole’s Real Estate + Development practice group is a robust, broad-based practice that regularly represents buyers, sellers, lenders, owners, and tenants in commercial real estate transactions and other matters for all classes of real estate assets.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years of complex real estate experience; strong real estate fundamentals, including experience with title and survey review, zoning and land use review and permitting, drafting acquisition documents, and reviewing a variety of loan documents; and top academic credentials and professional ability, including excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience representing developers and borrowers in complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, public and private financing, and zoning and land use entitlements is preferred. Candidates should also work well as part of a team and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.

Please note that admission to the Connecticut bar is required for this position. Prior law firm experience is also required.
