Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior associate or counsel to join its Real Estate practice. This newly created role supports a senior real estate partner, with direct client exposure and meaningful responsibility from day one.

You’ll draft and negotiate commercial leases for landlords and tenants, handle acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing of commercial properties, and advise franchisees on franchise and distribution agreements.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of commercial real estate experience at a law firm with a focus on leasing.
• Substantial experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing of commercial properties.
• Franchisee-side experience, including agreement review, renewals, and transfers (preferred).
• Excellent academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to manage matters with minimal supervision.
• Admission in MA, NY, or CT (or eligibility to waive in).
