The Senior Housing sector is booming. Census data reveal that the number of Americans aged 65 and older reached a staggering 55.8 million in 2024, accounting for 16.8% of the nation’s population. This surge in the aging population is the primary driver behind the increased demand for senior housing. As more individuals enter their golden years, the need for specialized housing and care services has never been greater.

This posting is for an independent contractor real estate salesperson position.

Marcus & Millichap is the industry’s largest firm specializing in real estate investment sales and financing, as well as a leading source of research and advisory services. We are currently seeking to add to our premier Senior Housing team in the Bay Area.

  • Preparing thoughtful analyses of clients' properties, including opinions of value, market comparables, and research.
  • Researching the local market and staying up to date on industry trends.
  • Marketing investment real estate internally, externally, and to clients who are active investors.
  • Collaborating with Senior Agents to achieve business and career goals with a clear “pathway to growth.”
  • Networking with other industry professionals.
