Job summary

Five Star Refrigeration in Florida is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to service commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-ins, freezers, reach-ins, and rack systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair systems with minimal supervision, and provide excellent customer service while representing Five Star Refrigeration in the field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration.
• EPA Certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Experience working with a variety of refrigerants.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems—walk-ins, freezers, reach-ins, rack systems, and more.
• Performing preventative maintenance to ensure peak equipment performance.
• Troubleshooting and repairing systems with confidence and minimal supervision.
• Providing excellent customer service while representing Five Star Refrigeration in the field.
• Following all safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Participating in oncall rotations in a 24/7 service environment (with premium pay for oncall shifts).
• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records.
• Assisting in other service areas when needed to support the team.

What You Bring to the Team

• Technical training through apprenticeships, RSES, trade school, or equivalent experience.
• EPA Certification and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience working with a variety of refrigerants.
