HJH Investments is seeking a Commercial Property Manager (multi-site) as a full-time addition to our team, based in Columbus, OH. The property manager will oversee all aspects of daily property operations, including:

  • Providing excellent tenant service by responding to, tracking, and resolving tenant requests and problems promptly via work order software.
  • Conducting regular inspections of properties and tenant spaces to ensure lease compliance and proper maintenance. Identifying, recommending, and coordinating necessary repairs and upkeep.
  • Managing tenant improvement projects and capital projects, including RFP processes, evaluation, execution, expense monitoring, and closeouts.
  • Obtaining and evaluating proposals and executing vendor service agreements.
  • Maintaining accurate property and lease files in accordance with company policies, including tenant lease documents, records, and correspondence.
  • Assisting with tenant occupancy procedures, including move-ins/move-outs, and providing new tenants with essential information.
  • Coordinating property data entry into management software and establishing reporting protocols for maintenance, vendor and tenant insurance, and lease deadlines.
  • Verifying invoice accuracy against approved service orders or contracts and ensuring proper coding.
  • Supporting the accounting department with property-related inquiries and vendor issue resolutions.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining budgets, and reporting on expenses versus budgets.
  • Handling logistics for onsite events as needed.

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial property management, especially in tenant-facing roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good judgment and self-discipline.
  • Ability to multitask and manage vendors and contractors effectively.
  • Quick and efficient information gathering and prioritization skills.
  • Basic understanding of building mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a drive to improve processes.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding tenant service.
