Job summary

Painter Bros of Greenville seeks a Commercial Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver commercial painting projects from start to finish. You will lead crews, manage subcontractors, and liaise with clients and general contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget results aligned with Painter Bros quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in commercial construction or painting, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or project coordination role.
• Strong understanding of commercial painting processes, sequencing, and substrates.
• Experience reading blueprints, specs, and scopes of work.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular jobsite travel in the Upstate area.
• Proficiency with basic office tools (email, spreadsheets, project management software).

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, scopes of work, and plans/specs for new commercial projects.
• Develop project schedules, manpower plans, and material/equipment lists.
• Coordinate with estimators, office staff, and field leads to set up jobs for success.
• Schedule and manage subcontractors as needed.
• Oversee multiple commercial projects and conduct site visits for safety, quality, and progress.
• Provide regular progress updates to clients and GCs and manage change requests.
