Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Commercial General Contractor in the DMV area on their search for a Project Manager to oversee Ground-Up Construction projects $25MM+.

Title: Project Manager - Commercial Ground-Up Construction (5+ years)

Project Types: Educational, Public / Municipality, Healthcare, Multifamily, and Commercial projects

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, develop, manage, and implement all the tasks necessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and to the quality specified.
• Providing mentorship and leadership to our assistant project managers while serving as the liaison between project team members and the community with the common goal of promoting the interests of both the firm and clients in all matters.
• Work directly with the assistant project managers, Project Executives, and Executive Vice President of Construction to provide technical expertise regarding cost estimates, negotiate contracts, change orders, and establish project objectives to ensure project success.
• Work closely with company support departments (e.g. Accounting, HR, Safety, Quality Assurance, etc.) in the execution of project work to maximize success.
• Develop and maintain relationships within the community

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct project management experience on $15+ million-dollar projects in the DMV.
• Current PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) certifications preferred.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
