Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Project Controller / Commercial Project Manager to own the commercial and financial aspects of complex projects in Houston, TX. You will drive revenue recognition, invoicing, and cost control while coordinating with project managers and functional teams.

The role requires strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, SAP fluency, and the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial partners. Travel about 5% and US work authorization are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Business Administration/ Accounting is required.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Finance or Business administration, preferably with Project Management.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS; proficient in SAP, MS Office; analytical tools preferred (Alteryx, Tableau).
• Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial partners, work in a team, and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Travel approximately 5% required.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for all commercial and finance-related matters, including Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign Exchange, and NCM topics.
• Manage and optimize financial results with due professional care, including revenue, project gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments.
• Lead all aspects of monthly revenue recognition, contractual invoicing, and ensure IFRS15/local GAAP reporting and internal controls.
• Prepare commercial documentation for project status meetings, ensuring accuracy in data, forecasts, cash flow, and reporting.
• Ensure accurate cost and pricing calculations; maintain project books in SAP, OnePM, and eFMT; manage financial guarantees, bonds, and securities.
• Support PM in risk assessment, non-conformance cost reduction, reporting structures, and lessons learned integration.
