MPI, one of Wisconsin's largest employee-owned construction firms, seeks an Assistant Project Manager - Commercial to help plan, coordinate and manage complex projects from start to finish, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.

The successful candidate will have experience with project management processes, strong organizational and communication skills, and a degree in construction management or a related field.

Qualifications

• Experience with building and construction project management processes and tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and risk management practices.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure schedules and budgets are met.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to address project needs and updates.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays.
• Support the procurement of materials and services for project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
