Job summary

ALPHA OMEGA CONSTRUCTION GROUP INC is looking for a Construction Supervisor to oversee activities related to new and existing roofing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various roofing types, project management skills, and experience managing subcontractors.

You will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance, budget adherence, and quality installation while maintaining effective communication with clients and team members. A high school diploma and valid forklift license are required, while bilingual skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of TPO, EPDM, Shingle, and Metal Roofing.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations (OSHA 30 Certified).
• Ability to lift over 100 lbs.

Job Summary

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in new construction shingle roofing, flat roofing, metal roofing, gutter installation and maintenance of existing roofing systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No direct reports but indirectly oversees subcontractors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of TPO, EPDM, Shingle, and Metal Roofing
• Thorough knowledge of construction site safety and OSHA regulations (OSHA 30 Certified)
• Effective time management and logical decision‑making ability
• Strong focus on quality installation and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communications
• Client relationship management
• Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting and identification of resources needed
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a daily basis and hold regular status meetings with company executives and/or affiliated parties
• Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
• Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems
• Review and approve all Sub‑contractor’s invoices
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills & Abilities

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Ability to lift over 100 lbs.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• 2–3 years of related work experience
• Valid forklift license
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction preferred
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 100 pounds repeatedly as needed
• Must be able to climb ladder and traverse roof at times
• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction site in various types of weather
