Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Technician to join our Plumbing Service team in California. The ideal candidate has four years of recent commercial plumbing experience and strong customer service skills.

We provide a vehicle, materials, and supplies to complete assigned projects. The role does not involve selling services or collecting payments. Schedule options include Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday mornings, with overtime available

Qualifications

• Four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experience.
• Valid driver license with insurable driving record.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Verbal and written English literacy for communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, proactive customer service and communicate findings and repair updates to customers.
• Communicate with management, support teams, and dispatch on work order status and needs.
• Diagnose and clear clogged drains and perform sewer camera inspections.
• Service, repair, and replace commercial fixtures and components such as toilets, urinals, faucets, sinks, and RO systems.
• Locate and repair leaks in water supply and drainage piping.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or replace commercial gas and electric water heaters.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair drain, waste, and vent systems.
• Inspect, service, and repair grease traps, interceptors, sump pumps, and lift stations.
• Submit complete service documentation with photos, materials used, and follow-up work.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and protect customer property.
• Drive and operate company vehicles and maintain tools/equipment inventory.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable plumbing codes.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the department.

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide provider of skilled commercial services specializing in service and repair for retail, grocery, and convenience stores. We provide 24/7 plumbing service and repair supported by our dedicated plumbing management and dispatch teams.

We are seeking a Commercial Plumbing Technician to join our Plumbing Service team. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of recent experience in commercial plumbing, along with strong customer service skills. The company provides a vehicle, materials, and supplies needed to successfully complete assigned projects. This position does not require selling services or collecting payments from customers.

Schedule

• Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday, first shift (days)
• Overtime available but not guaranteed

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, proactive customer service and communicate findings and repair updates to customers
• Communicate clearly with plumbing management, support teams, and dispatch regarding work order status, material needs, and follow-up requirements
• Diagnose and clear clogged main and branch drain lines using cable machines, augers, or hydro jetters, and perform sewer camera inspections
• Service, repair, and replace commercial plumbing fixtures and components, including toilets, urinals, faucets, sinks, flush valves, and reverse osmosis systems
• Locate and repair leaks in water supply and drainage piping, including associated fittings and shutoff valves
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or replace commercial gas and electric water heaters
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair drain, waste, and vent systems
• Inspect, service, and repair grease traps, interceptors, sump pumps, and lift stations
• Perform preventive maintenance and test completed repairs to verify proper operation
• Submit complete service documentation after each appointment, including work performed, photos, materials used, and recommended follow-up work
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and protect customer property during service and repairs
• Drive and operate company vehicles within department guidelines and maintain assigned tools, equipment, and vehicle inventory
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable plumbing codes
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the department

Requirements

• Four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experience
• Valid driver license with an insurable driving record
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Verbal and written English literacy for the use of cell phone and mobile email communication
