Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Technician to join our Plumbing Service team in California.

The role requires at least four years of relevant commercial plumbing experience and a second‑shift schedule with a company vehicle and gas card for travel between jobsites. We offer a full‑time position with a focus on service and maintenance, including installation and repair of fixtures, water heaters, and sanitary systems.

Qualifications

• Four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experience.
• Valid driver license with no more than two points or driving restrictions.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Verbal and written English literacy for communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide informative customer service to clients with professional conduct.
• Diagnose and clear clogged main and branch lines using cable machines, and perform camera line inspections.
• Install, repair or replace commercial plumbing fixtures and water heaters.
• Diagnose and repair sanitary waste, vent, or potable water pipes.
• Inspect or repair grease traps, interceptors, sump pumps and lift stations.
• Diagnose and unclog drains with cable machines, hydro jets, or camera lines.
• Submit service paperwork with a summary of the work provided after each service.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Drive and operate company vehicles within department guidelines.
• Willingness to take on additional duties as needed.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Plumbing Technician to join our Plumbing Service team. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of recent commercial plumbing experience in new construction, tenant improvement projects, or commercial service and be available to work second‑shift hours. A company vehicle and gas card are provided to support travel between jobsites and other field operations.

Schedule

• Tuesday - Saturday (2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.)
• Overtime available but not guaranteed

Responsibilities

• Properly diagnose and repair issues with sanitary waste, vent, or potable water pipes

• Submit service paperwork with a summary of the work provided after each service appointment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner

Salary Description
