Job summary

Maumee Supply is seeking an experienced estimator for commercial plumbing quotations. The role requires analyzing blueprint specifications, material take offs, and product requirements to create accurate job estimates and related documents.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of estimating or commercial field experience, strong communication, attention to detail, and solid computing abilities. Join a team focused on growth and project success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand the scope of the commercial project and its material requirements.
• Determine key variables for cost and other estimates.
• Create and submit estimates or bids to project managers, mechanical contractors, plumbers, etc.
• Obtain pricing for quotes by working with the purchasing team and vendors for specified materials.
• Assist the outside sales team with scheduling material deliveries based on project progression.

Maumee Supply is a rapidly growing plumbing, heating, and industrial PVF supply house, and is looking to add an experienced estimator for commercial plumbing quotations. This is a great opportunity for a detailed oriented and motivated team player to build a career.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to analyze blueprint specifications, material take offs, and product specification requirements to create job estimates and other documents for commercial plumbing jobs.

Knowledge of construction materials and methods used in the commercial industry is a must. The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of estimating or commercial field experience, strong communication skills, strong attention to detail, and above average computing abilities.
