Job summary

CPI GC is seeking a career-driven Full-Time Plumber's Assistant with 0-3 years of experience to support licensed plumbers in commercial facilities, including office buildings, retail centers, hotels, and more. You will assist with installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing systems, handle materials, prepare equipment, and help keep job sites organized and safe.

Hourly pay starts at $20-$26, based on experience, with hands-on training and opportunities to develop skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• 0-3 years experience in a construction, electrical or trade-related role.
• Previous construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed plumbers with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing systems, piping, fixtures, and equipment.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install pipe and plumbing components under supervision.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, plumbing drawings, specifications, and isometric diagrams.
• Support plumbers during troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Assist with testing plumbing systems and equipment using appropriate tools and testing devices.
• Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable plumbing codes.
• Complete assigned work accurately while following direction from supervisors and licensed plumbers.
• Gather, stage, transport, organize, and properly store tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.
• Travel to project locations as required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
