Job summary

Crete United in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a skilled commercial plumber for new construction and retrofit projects. You will install, assemble, and maintain plumbing systems and read blueprints to ensure installations meet codes and project specs.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, preference for journeyman license, and the ability to work with a team while upholding safety standards. Competitive pay up to $42/hour DOE and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience required.
• Experience with new commercial construction and retrofit projects preferred.
• Journeyman plumber license preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and plumbing plans.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and installation practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license that does not require an SR-22.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain commercial plumbing systems on new construction and retrofit projects.
• Install and connect piping, fixtures, valves, drains, water lines, and other plumbing components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and plumbing layouts.
• Measure, cut, thread, solder, braze, and assemble pipe and fittings as required.
• Perform rough-ins, trim-outs, and finish plumbing work.
• Identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Ensure installations meet applicable plumbing codes, project specifications, and company quality standards.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other equipment.
• Coordinate work with other trades and members of the project team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company and jobsite safety requirements.
