Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure-test pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, drainage, and gas systems.
• Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs per work orders.
• Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures.
• Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment.
• Read blueprints and specifications to lay out plumbing systems.
• Plan, install, and service plumbing systems and test for leaks.
• Receive and complete work orders.
• Select materials and estimate time and materials.
• Maintain records on material and labor used.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure work area is clean.
• Collaborate with supervisors to complete projects.

Plumbers III are responsible for cutting, gluing, welding, and other installation means and methods for piping, fixtures, and other plumbing systems. Ensure quality control is applied & implemented for the operation of all plumbing systems. This position requires travel.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure-test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, drainage, and gas systems in accordance with specifications and plumbing codes.
• Determine the sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or per work orders.
• Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures.
• Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, water softeners, etc.; install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures, and equipment.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
• Plan, install, and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, equipment, and controls; test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
• Receive and complete work orders.
• Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.
• Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
• Work with supervisors to complete projects.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• 7 plus years of experience is required.

• Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
