Job summary

Corvant is seeking a Plumbing Installer/Technician to assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test piping systems for heating, water, drainage, and gas. Travel is required to support mission-critical facilities across data centers, healthcare, manufacturing, and education.

You will read blueprints, locate connections, and repair leaks, coordinating with supervisors to ensure quality, safety, and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• 5+ years of plumbing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
• Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders.
• Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures.
• Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, water softeners, etc.; install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures, and equipment.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
• Plan, install, and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, equipment, and controls; test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
• Receive and complete work orders.
• Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.
• Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
• Work with supervisors to complete projects.

Plumbers are responsible for cutting, gluing, welding, and other installation means and methods for piping, fixtures, and other plumbing systems. Ensure quality control is applied & implemented for the operation of all plumbing systems. This position requires travel.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• 5 plus years of experience is required.

• Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
