Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Plumber for contract work out of Trumbull, CT. The role focuses on commercial plumbing projects across the state, including brazing, soldering, piping installations, and sheet metal/duct work.

You will read blueprints, follow codes, and collaborate with other trades to meet project timelines. Applicants should have hands-on experience with piping installation, threading, and fittings, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

Extensive experience installing and fitting commercial plumbing systems.
Proficient brazing and soldering for piping and fittings.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with sheet metal and duct installations on commercial projects.
Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards.
Skilled with hand and power tools used in plumbing and duct work.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and repair commercial plumbing systems including piping and fixtures.
Perform brazing and soldering to create leak-free connections.
Read blueprints and technical drawings to plan installations.
Install sheet metal and duct systems as part of projects.
Coordinate with other trades on-site to meet timelines.
Inspect installations for safety and code compliance.
Troubleshoot issues during and after project completion.
Maintain tools and work areas in a safe, organized condition.
