Job summary

Proman Skilled Trades in the Houston area is seeking Commercial Pipefitters to join our team. You will assemble, install and repair plumbing systems, reading blueprints and following codes.

Strong problem solving and physical stamina are required, and you must have your own tools and reliable transportation. Responsibilities include layout, support for piping installs, and safe operation of PPE on job sites.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in Commercial Pipe Fitting.
• Familiar with blueprints and schematics.
• Familiar with pipefitting tools and procedures.
• Must have own tools and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assembly, installation and repair of plumbing systems.
• Install systems according to specifications and codes.
• Work with pipes, fittings, piping systems, fixtures and equipment for heating, cooling, gas, steam, lubrication, sprinkling and industrial processing systems.
• Study specifications, building plans and shop drawings to determine work aids and sequence of installation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety regulations (6S). Use PPE properly.
