Job summary

Quad/Graphics is seeking a photographer to perform in-studio and on-location shoots, collaborating with clients and internal teams to define project scope and provide creative input. You will ensure lighting and composition align with brand standards and deliver high-quality digital images for various channels.

The role requires a portfolio demonstrating diverse commercial photography skills, plus experience with lighting, color correction, and post-processing using industry tools.

Qualifications

• Associate or Trade School Degree in Photography, Media, Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Business Management or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2-year photo or production assisting experience in a commercial/high-end photography environment
• A working portfolio of demonstrable photography skills and abilities is required

Responsibilities

• Performing in-studio and on-location photography
• Attending internal pre-production meetings and meeting with the client to determine scope and offer solutions
• Exhibiting a well-developed skill set to meet brand and lighting requirements
• Understanding art direction, reading layouts and sketches
• Determining lighting, setup, composition, backgrounds and props
• Judging and correcting digital files for color, contrast and background
• Critically evaluating images while remaining objective
