Job summary

Orkin is hiring an Commercial Service Technician to safely protect customer properties on an assigned route. With award-winning training, you’ll learn the skills needed to diagnose issues, plan treatments, and deliver exceptional service.

You will start with extensive paid training, work in a team, and have opportunities to grow within a recession-resistant industry. A company vehicle and gas card support your daily duties.

Qualifications

• No experience required; extensive training provided.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work independently on route-based assignments and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Complete our training to learn skills to serve customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow a route schedule within an assigned territory; ensure timely arrival.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain its cleanliness.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Meet customers to explain actions and discuss additional services for peace of mind.
• Inspect interior and exterior of the customer’s property.
• Communicate actions taken and discuss services to improve pest management.
• Complete all service documentation on the handheld device.
