Job summary

The Terminix International Company Limited Partnership is recruiting for a Commercial Pest Control Technician to perform industry-leading pest management services for commercial customers. You will inspect properties, identify infestations, apply treatments, and offer preventative solutions while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will educate clients on prevention, schedule visits, support sales to existing customers, and help expand services to new accounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills; customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
• Provide advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations and expand services to new customers.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with sales to current customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and in good working condition, complying with regulations.
• Drive and operate a company-provided service vehicle safely and responsibly.
