Job summary
Entech Network Solutions, LLC. is partnering with a Chicagoland contractor to identify a Construction Estimator for private commercial paving, concrete and sitework projects.
You will review civil plans, perform quantity takeoffs, develop pricing and coordinate with operations to ensure estimates reflect project scope, site conditions and realistic field production. Responsibilities include reviewing bid documents, obtaining quotes, validating assumptions with field teams and highlighting risks
Qualifications
- Hands-on estimating experience in private commercial paving, concrete and sitework.
- Ability to read civil plans and translate to quantities and costs.
- Experience evaluating labor, materials, equipment pricing and field production.
Responsibilities
- Review civil plans, specs, bid documents and site conditions.
- Perform quantity takeoffs for paving, concrete and sitework.
- Develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment and subcontracted work.
- Obtain and compare vendor and subcontractor quotes, check scope gaps.
- Coordinate with field and operations to validate production assumptions.
- Identify site constraints, constructability concerns and risks before pricing.
- Support proposals, value engineering and transition to execution.
