Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a professional level sales position to support advanced functions on the commercial side of the business.

The role aims at profitable growth through customer retention and expansion, partnering with the GM to manage Team Members and directing drivers for timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, strong selling skills for commercial customers, and the ability to source from multiple channels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• Minimum of 3 years of automotive parts experience preferred
• Proven sales ability and leadership experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain commercial customer relationships
• Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Provide day-to-day supervisory support for team members
• Collaborate with GM on coaching and development of team members
• Dispatch drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Maintain commercial stocking programs
• Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
• Maintain core bank and commercial returns
• Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage
