Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support CPP-led sales and coordinate commercial deliveries.

You will oversee the store vehicle fleet, assist with inventory and maintain a strong customer relationship while driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities. The role requires flexibility across days, evenings, and weekends, with a focus on accurate dispatching, safety checks, and effective communication with customers and management.

Qualifications

• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers, and management.
• Understand and execute instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; ability to write simple correspondence.
• Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Use Microsoft software effectively (Word, Excel required)
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Strong organizational skills
• Basic inventory management skills
• Basic dispatching knowledge
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance schedules
• Working knowledge of automotive systems, and diagnostic ability to include internal engine, suspension, brakes, electronic, exhaust, etc.
• Successfully complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment

Responsabilités

• Support CPP-led commercial sales.
• Assist with dispatching and coordination of commercial deliveries.
• Manage store vehicle fleet maintenance, safety checks, and general vehicle readiness.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Perform outbound calls, follow-ups, and basic account touchpoints.
• Perform customer deliveries as needed, following standard driver procedures.
• Lead the organization and maintenance in and around the parts department / backroom, staging, and delivery areas.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Lead commercial program when the CPP is not present.
