The Opportunity
Flock is actively seeking a Commercial Partnerships Manager to bridge the critical gap between law enforcement agencies, community business stakeholders, and Flock Safety's solutions. You'll be the "boots on the ground" professional who drives FlockOS growth and retention by forging strategic alliances with commercial enterprise organizations and facilitating seamless integration of existing video management systems into our FlockOS platform.
This role addresses a significant challenge: law enforcement agencies often lack resources to effectively engage communities around safety technology, and our current connection rate across community rollover customers is only 0.02% - meaning the vast majority of purchased live feeds are not being utilized. You'll solve this by actively identifying partnerships, securing commercial enterprise agreements, and building the community programs that turn our customers into raving fans while expanding our network reach to outpace competitors.
The Skillset
- 2-5 years of experience in cultivating strategic partnerships, preferably in technology or public safety sectors
- Self-starter mentality with proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience working cross-functionally as a liaison between revenue teams and other internal departments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze crime data and identify strategic partnership opportunities
- Comfortable becoming a subject matter expert on software and hardware devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with extreme attention to detail
- Consultative approach to problem-solving and customer engagement
- Experience with video management systems or security technology preferred
- Law enforcement or startup experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time for hands-on partnership development
Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box? That’s okay; we’ve felt that way too. Studies have shown women and minorities are less likely to apply unless they meet all qualifications. We encourage you to break the status quo and apply to roles that would make you excited to come to work every day.
