Commercial Partnerships ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Partnerships Manager to support the expansion of Adyen’s scaled partnership program in North America.

This program is designed to accelerate business growth through partners at scale while enhancing their overall experience.

In this key role, you will manage partners across North America and drive the program's success in the market. As part of our global scaled partner management team, you will also have global responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively manage a large partner portfolio at scale (100+ partners in North America, 1,000+ globally).

You will leverage automation, technology, and streamlined processes to foster scalable and impactful relationships with our partners. With a combination of business and product expertise, you will proactively identify, develop, and nurture channel partnerships for Adyen.

Partners managed by our team include technology partners (e.g. POS providers, ecom platforms), alliances partners (e.g system integrators, digital agencies) and other regional partners who contribute significant deal pipeline for our commercial sales org.

As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in building a scaled partner management program, driving enterprise pipeline growth for the sales organization and contributing to the acceleration of our overall business growth trajectory.If you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment and have a proven track record in scalable partner management in a commercial function, then we invite you to bring your ideas and initiatives to our ambitious team.

What you’ll do

  • Initiating and developing commercial relationships with a variety of partners for Adyen in a scaled program
  • Harness automation, technology, and streamlined processes to build new partnerships and cultivate and expand existing partnerships, ensuring scalable and fruitful relations with our valued partners
  • Driving partner recommendations and referrals that lead to new business wins;
  • Negotiating commercial partnership models (e.g. revenue share models and joint go to market plans);
  • Working together with Adyen's global partnerships and sales teams by attending meetings with partners

Who you are

  • 3-5 years of experience in a direct partnerships facing role owning a revenue goal
  • Experience in building scalable programs in a commercial role
  • Ability to think and operate like an entrepreneur, a go-getter mentality
  • Ability to see the bigger picture in channel management using a global and commercial mindset
  • Flexible, professional, accurate and structured
  • Excellent organizational skills as we are a flat organization with a lot of autonomy
  • Outgoing, friendly and fun
  • This role is based out of our San Francisco office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.
