Skillforce is hiring Commercial Painters for a 2-week project in Olive Branch, MS. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience in industrial/commercial painting and is comfortable with local travel.

Responsibilities include surface prep, masking, sandblasting, coating applications, and quality inspections. Tools and PPE must be provided by the worker; employers offer weekly pay and benefits in a W-2 role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience painting in an industrial and/or commercial setting preferred
• Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
• Must provide personal hand tools and required PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, work boots, and a safety vest.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare surfaces for blasting and painting
• Remove contaminants and properly mask areas not being treated
• Operate sandblasting equipment with the appropriate blasting media
• Apply industrial coatings using sprayers, brushes, and rollers
• Maintain equipment to ensure effective performance and quality results
• Ensure proper coating thickness, finish consistency, and coverage
• Inspect completed work for quality and perform touch-ups as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and properly use required PPE

• Up to $26.00 per hour, based on your experience
• W-2 employment with weekly pay by direct deposit
