Higham Co Inc Painting & Wallcovering Contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Painter to join our DMV region crews on active jobsites. You’ll work with a skilled team on commercial, government, and federal projects across the DMV.

The role demands surface preparation, spray application, and safety compliance, with the ability to work at heights. We offer weekly pay, health coverage, retirement options, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in commercial or construction painting applications.
• Completion of a Trade Program or Technical Certification in painting.
• Completed OSHA 30 certification or related trade safety training.
• Solid practical working knowledge of surface preparation and coatings.
• Demonstrated experience using airless paint sprayers, brushes, rollers, and caulking guns.
• Ability and physical comfort working at heights on Ladders and power lifts.
• High attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Keep tools, equipment and materials in organized and good working condition

• Location: Manassas, VA (20% Regional Travel)

• Project Scope: Commercial, Government, and Federal Painting, Wallcovering, and Polished Concrete
