Job summary

National Coatings in Denver, Colorado, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the financial health of projects while meeting contractual obligations. You will manage multiple projects, ensure client satisfaction, and lead a team of Superintendents.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in project management and prior commercial painting experience. Benefits include medical insurance, 401(k) match, and an annual bonus opportunity based on company performance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for the financial health of assigned projects, ensuring profitability while meeting contractual obligations.
• Oversee project progress, proactively identifying potential roadblocks, delays, or issues; implement immediate corrective actions accordingly.
• Proficiently manage subcontract and client monthly pay applications, subcontract amendments, and necessary written notifications governing the work.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while cultivating and maintaining client relationships; ensure timely responses to urgent situations.
• Track and manage labor, equipment, and material costs associated with ongoing projects.
• Lead and supervise the Superintendents, holding accountable for overall performance.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to determine proper manpower and schedules for upcoming projects.
• Prepare accurate monthly billings based upon current job completion status.
• Complete monthly WIP (Work in Progress) reporting.
• Lead, manage, exhibit, and hold accountable to the core values of Dedicated, Integrity, Pursuit of Excellence, and Team Player.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in project management
• Prior commercial and/or retail painting experience
• Exceptional communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a team player
• Proficiency with construction management software (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Eclipse, and/or Procore experience is a plus)
