The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role for a working Foreman who can direct crews, perform layout, maintain quality and safety standards, and keep projects moving according to schedule. You will work closely with Superintendents, project leadership, general contractors, and field employees to ensure each project is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has strong commercial structural masonry experience and understands that this role extends beyond residential subdivision walls or land-development site-wall work.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Lead daily field operations for commercial structural CMU, site masonry, stone, and paver projects.
  • Assign work and manage daily crew productivity based on project priorities and schedules.
  • Perform structural layout, elevations, block counts, and jobsite setup.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, deliveries, and manpower to prevent delays.
  • Maintain quality-control standards throughout each phase of construction.
  • Identify field conflicts, layout discrepancies, and incomplete rough-in conditions before they affect production.
  • Communicate jobsite issues promptly to the assigned Superintendent.
  • Enforce OSHA requirements, scaffold safety, fall protection, and company safety procedures.
  • Conduct or support daily safety discussions and toolbox talks.
  • Complete required reports, photographs, and project documentation using a company-provided tablet.
  • Use general contractor platforms such as Procore, Autodesk, or similar systems when required.
  • Train, mentor, and develop crew members while maintaining accountability and production standards.
  • Communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking field employees.
Required Qualifications And Experience
  • At least five years of commercial masonry experience.
  • Proven experience leading masonry crews on commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of structural CMU, commercial site masonry, and layout procedures.
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret commercial blueprints and specifications.
  • Experience performing layout, elevations, block counts, and material takeoffs.
  • Experience managing quality, safety, manpower, and production on active jobsites.
  • Ability to lead crews of varying sizes based on project scope.
  • Comfortable using tablets, digital plans, photographs, and daily reporting systems.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to travel locally between Phoenix-area jobsites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience with stone veneer, mechanically fastened stone, pavers, or specialized masonry systems.
  • Experience on multifamily, educational, municipal, industrial, airport, or prevailing-wage projects.
  • Experience working on projects that require additional site access or security clearances.
Experience That Does Not Meet The Core Requirement

Candidates whose experience is limited primarily to residential subdivision walls, tract-development walls, or land-development site walls may not meet the commercial structural masonry requirements of this position.

Compensation And Benefits
  • $35.00–$45.00+ per hour, based on experience.
  • Flexibility above the posted range for highly qualified candidates.
  • Weekly pay.
  • Year-round, full-time work.
