Qualifications

• Proven masonry experience in commercial or government construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong knowledge of masonry tools, materials, and installation techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable climbing and working on scaffolding.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lay brick, block, and stone according to project specifications and blueprints.
• Mix and apply mortar, grout, and bonding agents to ensure structural integrity.
• Measure, cut, and shape masonry materials to meet design requirements.
• Install and align masonry units to precise grade and elevation standards.
• Repair or replace damaged masonry structures as required.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with foremen and other trades to meet project timelines.
