CBRE is seeking a Data Center Commercial Manager to act as SME on DCS commercial agreements, leading commercial positions and training for large accounts in the United States. You will work with legal and business teams to negotiate contracts, manage risk, and ensure policy compliance.
The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, degree preference, strong communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders across procurement and operations. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Travel as needed (25% target)
Takes the lead on the commercial position of the accounts,including attending regular customer meetings, review meetings, reporting androlling out commercial training as well as developing bespoke training for thelarge accounts as required.
Supports the transition of new wins, including theeducation and influence of the operational and procurement teams in managing,mitigating and flowing down risk, managing change on the accounts, supportingchange and sharing best practice.
Support the legal and business teams in the timelyagreement of contracts to the mutual satisfaction of both parties.
Involved with the sales, tender or re-tender process.
Adopt and agree the best negotiation strategy with internalstakeholders including internal or external legal support.

Ensure all commercial deals comply with the GWS Global RiskPolicy, GWS contracting standards and any other company policy.
Promote compliance with the GWS Global Risk Policy andprocedures including Regional and Global Pricing Committee reviews; Commercialgovernance and approvals and Project Procedures.
Attend Business Reviews, and any other reviews as directed,to promote commercial best practice.
Provide, maintain and advise on the use of standarddocumentation and templates.
Check and challenge business processes for compliance.
Develop internal stakeholders’ commercial awareness throughmeetings, presentations, training courses and advice.
Provide summaries and training on contract obligation inco-ordination with SMEs
Running commercial training courses
Providing commercial guidance at tender stage and throughthe contract life cycle
Present at Business Group, Regional Business and localmanagement meetings
Stay up-to-date of changes in law and liaise with localin-country counsel to stay abreast of local law changes and changes commercialpractices.
Provide commercial solutions to minimize risk and maximizeopportunities.
Analyzing the circumstances and articulating the optionsand potential outcomes available.
Influence and motivate stakeholders to take the bestcommercial solution
Building key customer contacts to strengthen CBRE’sposition in the development of long term customer relationships
Considering innovative solutions
Taking the lead on business issues which could lead to highrisk or litigation/disputes – coordinating with the operators and legal team asrequired
Promote best commercial practice in the appointment of suppliers / subcontractors.
Support Sourcing/Supply Chain Solutions with the timely andcontractually robust order / sub-contract placement
Transfer risk by ensuring contractual obligations are backto back.
Support Sourcing/Supply Chain Solutions with the negotiation of Preferred Supplier Agreements and/or Supplier terms

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $135,000 annually and the maximum salary is $165,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
