Stealth Startup in the Bay Area is hiring a Commercial Manager to drive revenue across direct and channel sales. You will land new verticals, manage distributor relationships, and run GTM experiments to identify the best segments, messaging, and channels.
You will also lead cold outreach, attend conferences, and forecast pipeline with the CRM system. The role emphasizes traveling up to 20%, with a base salary plus commission and an equity package, joining a small, hands-on team building power
We’re a seed-stage stealth hardware startup based in the Bay Area building a new source of power for frontier applications, from robotics and connected edge devices to the built environment. Our technology turns everyday surfaces into power sources. We are a small, focused team: an exited founder, NASA engineers, and materials scientists who have spent their careers turning emerging technology into products and scaling the operations behind them. Our first products are already in customers’ hands.
Most of what we do has not been done before. The people who do well here have built something first of its kind, solved a problem others gave up on, or have patents, publications, or shipped products they can point to. They hold a high standard for their own work and expect it from the people around them.
We’re hiring a Commercial Manager to push our existing products as far as they can go. You’ll be responsible for landing new verticals, building our distributor and channel relationships, and running the go-to-market experiments (new segments, messaging, channels, and campaigns) that show us where to push next.
This is a revenue role: you’ll carry a target for standard-product, channel, and new-vertical sales, and close those orders yourself. You’ll sell our standard panels directly to device makers and through distributors and online channels.
This role requires 4-5 days per week in-office in Redwood City and travel of up to 20% for customer visits and trade shows.
