Seneca Resources is hiring a Back Commercial Maintenance Technician to service commercial properties in San Leandro, CA. Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• 2-5 years of general maintenance experience, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building trades.
• Proven ability to perform minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic software (MS Office, email).
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance and repairs as outlined in work orders.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs such as unclogging toilets and maintaining fixtures.
• Conduct routine painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and touch-up work to ensure facilities look like new.
• Carry out minor electrical work, including replacing fixtures and outlets within legal limits.
• Perform inspections and asset evaluations to ensure proper maintenance.
• Submit detailed work reports, service images, timesheets, and expense reports using handheld devices.
• Communicate effectively with clients, maintaining a positive relationship and ensuring satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety standards and complete required safety and compliance training.
• Provide cost estimates for larger maintenance projects and services.

Position Description

Join a dynamic team as a Commercial Maintenance Technician. In this role, you'll deliver quality maintenance and repair services across commercial properties in San Leandro, CA. Your responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and general building service tasks. You'll utilize your skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, roofing, HVAC, and groundskeeping to maintain facilities in excellent condition. This role involves direct client interaction, ensuring high customer satisfaction through professional workmanship and timely communication. Travel between properties is required, with a company-provided vehicle and tools.
