Job summary

NP Dodge Company seeks a Commercial Maintenance Technician to maintain our portfolio of commercial properties. The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry tasks, requiring attention to detail, proactivity and the ability to work independently.

You will communicate with the Facility/Property Manager, perform inspections, and coordinate with contractors while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry.
• EPA Section 608 Certification preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems.
• Maintains communication with Facility/Property Manager and reports progress.
• Inspects properties to identify issues and safety hazards.
• Responds to maintenance requests promptly and completes work orders on schedule.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs repairs or replacements.
• Keeps accurate maintenance records and inventories parts.
• Coordinates with external contractors for specialized repairs.
• Adheres to safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintains clean, organized, safe work areas and provides tenant service.
• On-call for after-hours emergencies and seasonal maintenance tasks.
