Job DescriptionCommercial Logistics Coordinator - Decatur, ILPosition Summary:The Commercial Logistics Coordinator will liaison between Product Management, Customer Support, Technical Service, and other operation supporting functions to execute product movement from suppliers, both domestic and international, to warehouses, and ultimately end customers. The candidate will be responsible for supporting various product managers within the specialty product segment of Sweeteners and Starches with the planning and forecasting of product movements. This includes, but not limited to, issuing requisition orders to procure goods, managing warehouse and terminal inventories as well as assisting in the development of processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain strong working knowledge of ADM Sweetener & Starch products, manufacturing locations and ingredient suppliers.
- Maintain finished goods inventory across multiple warehouses.
- Collaborate with accounting, shared services, suppliers and warehouses to manage and reconcile finished goods inventories.
- Enter requisition orders, in collaboration with product managers, to procure material per contracts and customer needs.
- Work with IT and the optimization team to improve processes and inventory management systems.
- Assist Logistics and Distribution Manager with pipeline and inventory management at each Sweetener Terminal.
Qualifications- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred (such as accounting, logistics or inventory management) but will consider job experience and skills depending on background and applicability.
- Exceptional communication (spoken and written), listening and teamwork skills.
- Detail oriented with strong organization and record keeping skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with an attention to detail and follow-up.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office, IBM, and various Warehouse Management Systems. Capable of operating in Power BI and Tableau beneficial.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and of varying priorities.
- Willingness to assume and learn new responsibilities as the role evolves.
