Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Processor to manage processing of Commercial and Construction Loans and Standby Letters of Credit. You will work with loan officers, customers, title/escrow, attorneys, brokers, and third parties to assemble complete loan files for underwriting.

The role requires strong knowledge of underwriting documentation, lending regulations, and experience with loan closings.

Qualifications

• Four+ years as a Commercial Loan Processor or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting documentation and lending regulations.
• Familiarity with bond financing documentation and loan closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with loan officers, customers, title/escrow, attorneys, brokers, and third parties to assemble complete loan files for underwriting.
• Review submissions, identify missing docs, obtain financial, collateral, and construction documents, secure title endorsements, ensure regulatory compliance (RESPA, Reg B, OFAC, HMDA, Adverse Action, Flood Insurance).
• Manage loan closings from start to finish, ensuring conditions and docs meet bank and regulatory standards and provide updates and final reports.

Commercial Loan Processor

Seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Processor to manage processing of Commercial Loans, Construction Loans, and Standby Letters of Credit, ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal banking regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with loan officers, customers, title/escrow companies, attorneys, brokers, insurance providers, construction contractors, and other third parties to gather and compile complete and accurate loan files for underwriting.
• Review submissions, identify missing documentation, obtain required financial, collateral, and construction‑related documents, secure title endorsements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as RESPA, Reg B, OFAC, HMDA, Adverse Action, and Flood Insurance.
• Manage the loan closing process from start to finish, ensuring all conditions and documentation meet bank and regulatory standards, including subsequent updates and final reports.
• Consistently use software systems and online tools, maintain strong customer service, and communicate professionally with both internal and external partners to promote the company’s image and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of experience as a Commercial Loan Processor.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting documentation and lending compliance regulations.
• Familiarity with bond financing documentation and a solid understanding of loan closing processes, including flood insurance guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, ability to multitask, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with commercial and construction loans, standby letters of credit, and systems such as BakerHill NextGen (CLOS) and Fiserv DNA is highly desirable.
