Job summary

EverBank N.A. is seeking a Commercial Loan Operations Specialist Lead to oversee operational support for a range of banking commercial products.

The role requires coordinating data input, quality control, and client statement preparations, while resolving escalated reporting issues and maintaining accuracy in the loan management system. The position offers leadership to junior staff and requires experience in commercial lending, loan onboarding and closing, and familiarity with loan

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in commercial lending.
• Experience with syndicated and non-syndicated commercial loan transactions.
• Experience coordinating loan onboarding and closing activities, reviewing documentation and ensuring accurate system setup.
• Experience preparing and validating wire transfer templates and funding instructions.
• Understanding of loan documentation, funding processes and operational controls.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions with high accuracy.

Commercial Loan Operations Specialist Lead
The Commercial Loan Operations Specialist Lead provides operational support for an array of banking commercial products. Under limited supervision, this job works on projects and prospects associated with commercial operations by coordinating data input processes, quality control, client statement preparations and error identification. This job solves escalated reporting issues and consistently works to maintain the accuracy of the company's commercial loan management system.
Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Coordinates processing of commercial banking operations such as loans, letters of credit and banking guarantees.
• Ensures accuracy, quality and completeness of data inputs from loan applications and related documentation into a commercial loan management system.
• Supports preparation of statements for clients, along with conducting reconciliation and investigation efforts when needed.
• Retrieves and provides information on existing loans to clients as requested.
• Ensures best practices for resolving out-of-balance transactions are followed.
• Identifies and corrects erroneous transactions and reports major issues to senior colleagues for issue resolution.
• Trains, delegates and reviews work of junior colleagues to ensure high-quality delivery of services and products.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in commercial lending.
• Experience supporting both syndicated and non-syndicated commercial loan transactions.
• Proven experience coordinating loan onboarding and closing activities, including reviewing documentation and ensuring accurate system setup.
• Experience preparing and validating wire transfer templates and funding instructions for commercial loan transactions.
• Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation, funding processes, and operational controls.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end servicing activities for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loans, syndicated portfolios, and specialty finance products.
• Experience with the FIS Commercial Loan Servicing platform (formerly ACBS).
• Experience using nCino to support commercial lending processes.
