The Gig:

• Build and manage a portfolio of business clients in the greater Modesto–Merced area across C&I, CRE, and Ag.
• Straightforward, transparent incentive plan with strong upside.
• Fast credit turnaround with local decision-makers who know the market.
• Stable bank with a long history and no plans to sell or merge; low turnover.
• Goals are individualized and set collaboratively with the Chief Credit Officer and tailored to you and your market, not a blanket target.

Responsibilities:

• Source quality loans across Ag, owner-occupied CRE, and C&I.
• Maintain an active calling program, track pipeline and referrals, and manage your client database.
• Navigate and communicate credit policies to facilitate timely approvals.
• Stay current on bank policies as well as federal and state regulations.
• Be visible in the community through local civic and business involvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 8–10+ years of commercial banking experience ideal; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong credit acumen—able to distinguish good vs. weak deals with minimal oversight.
• Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.

The Pay:

• Base salary of $150,000 plus aggressive quarterly and annual incentives that reward production.
