Alerus is a commercial wealth bank seeking a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist to prepare and review loan documents within LaserPro in alignment with approvals, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance for a superior client experience.

The role collaborates with Lending Specialists and Loan Servicing, handling time-sensitive due diligence and HMDA reporting while pursuing ongoing education and development to stay current with industry standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan documents within LaserPro according to loan approval for new and existing requests.
• Ensure documents are prepared accurately and within service level agreements.
• Review loan file and Commercial Lending Delivery (CLD) applications for due diligence items.
• Research requests regarding documentation and handle time sensitive issues, escalated to supervisor.
• Manage specialized processes including HMDA Compliance reporting.
• Provide primary and backup coverage on processes, as needed.
• Actively pursue continuing education, reading, and self-development to enhance skills.
• Complete regulation, compliance and additional training as assigned.
• Maintain client focus and partner internally with other teams to deliver superior client experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist is responsible for the fulfillment of commercial loan documents. This position will have knowledge of regulatory requirements and perform the due diligence needed to ensure complete and accurate documentation. This position will maintain a client focus and will partner with Lending Specialists, Loan Servicing, and other credit team members to deliver a superior client experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Prepare loan documents, within LaserPro, according to loan approval for new and existing requests.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is typically performed in an office setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office utilizing proper ergonomic safeguards when doing so. Additionally, the employee must occasionally lift or move supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.

BASE PAY RANGE

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
