Job summary

Royal Business Bank in Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant Loan Closing Officer to support the Loan Closing/Doc. Manager across C&I, CRE, Construction and Small Business loans, ensuring terms reflect approvals and closings occur on time.

You will coordinate e-signatures, verify documentation, liaise with outside counsel as needed, and review titles and insurance. Post-closing checks and audit support are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, international development studies or equivalent.
• 2+ years in commercial loan documentation and closing; familiarity with trust deeds and mortgages.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; experience with Laser Pro is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate closings with relationship officers and underwriters.
• Review loan documents for validity and completeness to prepare for submission.
• Ensure compliance with CCR/CCM/Credit Memo terms before submission.
• Coordinate with outside counsel for out-of-state mortgage documents.
• Engage bank counsel for loan closing and verifier for title issues.
• Send final documents to borrowers for signature and execution.
• Review property insurance for bank guidelines and perform fee reconciliation.
• Conduct post-closing review for compliance with terms and conditions.
• Assist in auditor/examiner requests for credit information.
