Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Coordinator for the Commercial Banking division to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant handling of commercial loan documentation and closings.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; high school diploma with post-secondary training or certification acceptable.
• Experience with loan documentation and regulatory compliance is required or strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordinator for commercial loan closings; prepare, review, and validate closing packages.
• Act as liaison between Commercial Banking Officers and Loan Operations for post-closing follow-up.
• Develop internal and external communications including board-level memoranda and customer letters.
• Maintain sensitive financial records in compliance with data governance and bank policies.
• Prepare and distribute complex reports for executive review, internal audit, and Board materials.
• Support commercial customers with loan inquiries, transactions, and account maintenance.
• Manage ledger entries and processing of loan payments, deposits, and transfers.
• Provide project support and process improvements for departmental leadership.
• Stay updated on applicable laws and internal controls and complete trainings on time.
