Job summary

EMR USA Metal Recycling is seeking a Load Inspector for our Becker, MN site. You will assist equipment operators by identifying customer materials and directing yard traffic.

Responsibilities include inspecting and grading loads for quality and safety, communicating results to workers, completing reports, and keeping the yard tidy while supporting daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work in outdoor conditions year-round.
• Knowledge of metal grades is a plus.

• Communicate inspection results to operators and other yard staff.
• Complete inspection reports and tickets as needed.
• Direct on-site traffic to ensure materials are unloaded in correct locations.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and perform other assigned tasks.

About The Opportunity

As a Load Inspector at EMR, you'll play a key role in our daily operations at our Becker, MN site. In this role, you'll assist equipment operators by identifying customer materials and directing traffic throughout the yard.

What You'll Do

• Inspect and grade incoming and outgoing loads for quality, weight, packaging, hazardous materials and safety
• Communicate inspection results to operators and other yard staff
• Complete inspection reports and tickets as needed
