Job summary

Judit Inc. is a full-service law firm in New York seeking an experienced commercial litigation attorney.

You will manage cases from inception to resolution, draft pleadings, conduct depositions, and represent clients in state and federal courts with strategic guidance. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, NY Bar admission (NJ a plus), and excellent writing and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar; New Jersey admission is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions and handle court appearances in state and federal courts.
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review, production, and strategy.
• Handle arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Prepare for and assist with hearings and trials.
• Supervise junior attorneys and support staff as needed.
