Commercial Litigation Attorney

A well-established law firm is seeking two Commercial Litigation Attorneys with 4–6+ years of experience to join its team. These positions offer significant client contact and the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility in a collaborative and supportive environment. Experience in Chancery practice, health law, or construction law is a plus.

Base Pay Range

$135,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Conduct depositions, discovery, and legal research
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials
• Work closely with partners and clients to develop and implement case strategies
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar required; New York admission is a plus
• 4–6+ years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting
• Experience in both state and federal court
• Strong writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Proficiency in eDiscovery, including preservation, collection, and review of electronic evidence; experience with platforms such as Everlaw or Relativity preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines
• Courtroom and deposition experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-service mindset
